All Moved In.

Well we finally are here at Princeton. Three of the four of us are sick but other than that we have had a pretty smooth transition. Classes don't start for another week so we are just trying to get settled in and learn the area as well as look for part time jobs. There are ton's of kids here for Maggie and William to play with so that has been great and meeting people is very easy because we are all living next to each other.
God Bless,
Jason

Off To Princeton Seminary

So I'm diving in and going off to Seminary this Fall at Princeton Theological Seminary. I underestimated the stress involved in moving, selling a house in a terrible market and uprooting my family and heading east from Columbus. Oh well, I'm sure all will be fine once we get there. Hopefully I can still write a decent paper. It will be interesting being back in the classroom full time after being out of college for 10 years. I hope that by taking Greek I and II over the past two years here in Columbus at Trinity Seminary will help me with the transition. We shall see.

Why Rea's Run?

I choose this name for my blog because of my family. William Rea came over from Ireland in 1805 and settled in South East Ohio on the bank of the Ohio River. Much of my extended family is still in this part of Ohio and there is a small stream that feeds into the Ohio river that is named "Rea's Run". There is a cemetary there where some of my ancestors were laid to rest. Just in Case anyone happens upon this blog and is looking for more information on the Rea family here is a website talking about William Rea and his children coming to America.
